Enjoy a fun interview with Scotti Hill as he looks back and reviews the classic 1990 issue of Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine. In this truly "SHREPIC" episode of Pages in Time, we had the honor of hosting the New York shred outlaw himself—Scotti Hill of Skid Row! Scotti joins us to reminisce about the iconic 1990 magazine cover, where he appeared alongside his bandmate Snake Sabo and the mighty Reb Beach of Winger.

We also learn a bit of history as Scotti reveals that he once worked at Kramer’s old factory in Neptune, NJ, before making it big with Skid Row! Back in the day, Scotti assembled Kramer's "Striker" line of guitars and even worked on some Steinbergers.

But that’s not all! Scotti also shares that he recently acquired legendary rock producer Michael Wagener's personal ADA MP-1 preamp—the same one used by Vito Bratta, Nuno Bettencourt, and Scotti himself!

Thank you for sharing this insightful interview with Scotti Hill! It reminded me of the joy I felt discovering those old guitar magazines, especially when they featured techniques like the wacky flip. Such a blast from the past!

It was interesting hearing Scotti Hill look back at the 1990 Guitar Magazine issue and reflect on that early Skid Row period, especially when he talked about flipping through the old photos and remembering how different the scene and gear culture felt back then. Moments like that make the interview feel less like a typical promo piece and more like someone genuinely revisiting a snapshot of their younger self and the era they came up in. Funny enough, while reading I caught myself thinking how people today search for all kinds of help online—from music inspiration to things like Get New Assignment Help Services in Australia yet stories like this remind you that creativity and dedication behind the scenes never really…
